C-Probe

Dear fellow pilots, we are happy to introduce our new, innovative product: the C-Probe.

Wind speed and direction calculated during straight flight, true airspeed (TAS) and efficiency will not be just a guesswork anymore, but accurately measured data thanks to the precise sensors of our C-Probe.

C-Probe is a multisensor platform built around its true Pitot tube, a really unique entry in the free-flight community. It is already being appreciated by the pilots and paraglider designers that are testing the first prototypes. Its features will make it an invaluable navigation instrument to associate to our C-Pilot Pro or to our integrated instruments currently under development. Please download our technical leaflet for further information. We'll also be glad to answer any question you may have about it.

C-Probe is currently in its preproduction phase and is available for professionals and manufacturers as an aid in the design of new wing and accessories. We plan to start the marketing within the end of March 2012.

La Coupe Icare, une delle più importanti manifestazioni di volo libero del mondo, si svolgerà dal 22 al 25 Settembre nella consueta e splendita località di Saint Hilaire Du Touvet (Francia), alla quale parteciperanno moltissimi produttori e distributori di materiale per volo libero. Ovviamente, lo Staff Compass non poteva mancare a questo importante appuntamento, quindi vi aspettiamo al nostro stand (E12-E14) per la presentazione dei nostri prodotti e di alcune novità. New update for the C-Pilot PRO!

A new update for the C-Pilot PRO is available for download!

We have implemented several new features and further optimised the existing ones, thanks also to the huge amount of suggestions coming from the pilots that already fly with our C-Pilot PRO.

What's new in version 2.0.43:

- management and optimisation of the task route, including on-entry and on-exit waypoints;

- the USB now can simulate a virtual serial port, allowing you to download your flights without using a serial cable;

- new display items to make your flight safer and longer.

You can install the new update from any PC running Win, Linux and Mac OS. Download the new version from the download section, uncompress it, and copy the file update_0200043.upd in the "update" folder of your C-Pilot PRO.

The new user manual is also available for download.

How Champions do it

Charles Cazaux has just returned home from the World Championship in Piedrahita, where he confirmed once again his flying skills.

Charles was so kind to send us the displays that he configured for competitions in order to share them with other pilots flying with our C-Pilot PRO.

You can download the start display, the one for the final glide and the generic one from the configuration page.

Concerning our C-Pilot PRO, Charles said: "We use it during training and during competition tasks. An essential tool for tasks settings, to avoid controlled airspaces and respect altitude limits.The flexibility of the configuration allows for personalized ergonomics: that’s amazing!"
