C-Probe automatic calibration is Patent Pending

Our automatic calibration system for the Pitot tube of the new C-Probe is officially patent pending. Thanks to this innovative feature, our C-Probe is probably the most precise airspeed measuring device available for the free-flight world: the combination C-Probe plus C-Pilot PRO can rule out sistematic errors in airspeed measurements due for example to the pilot- and harness-induced distorted airflow or less-than-perfect positioning of the tube and also automatically "learn and adapt" as the pilot flies.

Thanks to this feature and to the precise measurements of pitch and roll angles, the C-Probe has also attracted the interest of paraglider, hang gliders, kite, and harness manufacturers and of testing houses too.

Measurements performed by the C-Probe are particularly precise and reproducible and therefore constitutes an important reference frame (and up to now almost impossible to get) for the analysis of the real performances of our wings.

Incredible flight across Pianura Padana

Sunday 25th of May 2012, our friend Loris Berta, one of the best Italian pilots, managed to fulfill his own long-awaited dream: crossing the Pianura Padana with his paraglider!

He took off before 12pm in a quite difficult day and, four hours later, he landed close to Reggio Emilia after 145 km of pure flatland flying.

Loris is one of the pilots that has been testing the reliability and accuracy of our C-Probe. He made us very proud by saying that the combination of C-Pilot PRO and C-Probe allowed him to optimize his performances in this though flight.

C-Probe, il nuovissimo strumento presentato all' Expo Montegrappa 2012, ha riscosso un successo superiore alle aspettative, tant'è che è stato dato il via ad una seconda produzione per far fronte alle numerosissime rischieste.

Ringraziamo di cuore tutti coloro che hanno avuto fiducia in noi ed hanno creduto nelle potenzialità di C-Probe e della Compass.

EXPO' 2012

The Montegrappa Expo, that ended just a couple of days ago, is becoming an increasingly important event, also thanks to the presence of the best pilots in the world that compete in the Montegrappa Trophy.

We were there showing our products and we wish to thank all the visitors that spent some time by our stand, sharing with us their opinions and suggesting new ideas.

We also would like to thank wholeheartedly all the pilots that flew with our products, in particular to our friend Ulrich "Ulli" Prinz, again on the podium of a high-level competition. Thanks to his suggestions our C-Pilot PRO could improve day by day, becoming the instrument of choice for competition and XC pilots.

We expect 2012 to be very important for us: we are working on new interesting projects and our latest entry, the C-Probe, finally hit the market right during the Expo.

Dear fellow pilots, we are happy to introduce our new, innovative product: the C-Probe.

Wind speed and direction calculated during straight flight, true airspeed (TAS) and efficiency will not be just a guesswork anymore, but accurately measured data thanks to the precise sensors of our C-Probe.

C-Probe is a multisensor platform built around its true Pitot tube, a really unique entry in the free-flight community. It is already being appreciated by the pilots and paraglider designers that are testing the first prototypes. Its features will make it an invaluable navigation instrument to associate to our C-Pilot Pro or to our integrated instruments currently under development. Please download our technical leaflet for further information. We'll also be glad to answer any question you may have about it.

C-Probe is currently in its preproduction phase and is available for professionals and manufacturers as an aid in the design of new wing and accessories. We plan to start the marketing within the end of March 2012.
